Snow Senior Session | Nebraska Senior Photographer

We did our first official shoot with our Senior Rep Team of 2019 and I can say it was hands down something that inspired me to kick off the Class of 2020 already! These girls brought laughter and spunk to their session and it reminded me why I truly love what I do. Seniors have been, and always will be my favorite type of sessions. And, kicking off the rep team with this amazing group of girls I know will only get me more excited to meet high school seniors from all over Nebraska!

Meet the girls: Shelby, Caitlin, Cassidy, Lily & Jackie

Our reps are from several schools located around the southeast Nebraska area. Janae is representing Milford High School, Cassidy represents Tri-County High School, Morgan represents Norris High School, for our Wilber-Clatonia High School reps we have Shelby, Lily, and Jackie (we love WCHS!) and rounding us out is Caitlin who goes to Friend High School. This crew is so excited for their senior year and after our meeting at Brew House in Crete, Nebraska (my fav coffee place of all time!) we stepped out to go shoot a quick mini session in the snow. The girls all wore the cutest outfits that coordinated perfectly and I loved watching each of their personalities shine through their clothing choices. From worn denim jeans to black denim with distressed holes, we had some cute outfits paired with warm fuzzy boots and then Miss Shelby and Lily lived on the edge in tennis shoes although I swear they were going to get frost bite. I love that the girls almost all showed up in vests (myself included) because it clearly means we all love a puffy vest!! And of course, we almost all had matching CC beanies which cracked us up because we loved the thought of thinking alike!

While out in the snow shooting pictures of the girls, we learned so much about each other and laughed at some pretty wonky things. From Cassidy’s hilarious “laugh” to me almost falling before we even left the road, I’d say the girls had fun. The snow photos look amazing and the girls rocked their photo shoot! Here in Nebraska we received about seven inches of snow over the past few days so this was the perfect opportunity to take these pictures. We met in Crete, Nebraska for the session and then had snowball fights and tried not to slide down any slippery hills. The girls toughed it out and were troopers when I asked them to dip their fingers into the snow and some even offered to toss snow into each others faces “just for the perfect pictures.” But, I think my favorite part of the day was watching them laugh and get to know each other! My whole intention of having a rep team is to find ways to bridge schools and bring girls together to empower and encourage each other.

My heart exploded when they asked if we could get together more often than just for shoots. Yes girls, absolutely we can do girls days and go get pedis or nails done then go grab pizza and gab and catch up. Yes, absolutely my house is a safe place for pizza and movie nights! Honestly, this is what I dreamed of when I said I wanted to start a rep program and I am still on cloud nine thinking that something like a photo session could bring together such a diverse group of girls and teach them to love each other and laugh. This is totally what I imagined my business doing, and I’m grateful I can be the bridge to connect these girls! XOXO

Get ready to see more of these girls throughout the year. If you’re interested in booking your own senior session contact one of them to get a referral of $100 off of your own senior session. Also, if you book before the end of May 2019, you can get an additional $50 off your session fee making for a super great deal on any senior session! 😉
